Lightning Strucks Miley Cyrus Plane
Miley Cyrus, an award-winning American singer, and her family were on their way to Paraguay when their aircraft was hit by lightning on Wednesday.
After lightning struck their jet in mid-flight, the singer and her family were lucky to survive.
Cyprus and her family were on their way to the Asunciónico music festival in Paraguay when the tragedy occurred.
The aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing due to the event.
Cyprus confirmed the event in an Instagram post, showing a snapshot of the plane’s damage caused by lightning.
She wrote, “To my fans and everyone worried after hearing about my flight to Asunción. Our plane was caught in a major unexpected storm and struck by lighting.
“My crew, band, friends and family who were all travelling with me are safe after an emergency landing. We were, unfortunately, unable to fly into Paraguay. I LOVE YOU.”
